Nursery

Marble Hill School Creche and Nursery is a foundation school for children from 18 months to 5years.
Our teaching staff are experienced early years educators. Home work is a reinforcement of all taught concepts. Home work is sent thrice in a week; Monday, Wednesday and Friday and it includes activities such as soft activities, reading, writing, craft and research.

The Learning focus (which is a guide that has information about the homework) will always be put in the child’s Home-work Journal and we encourage parents not to do their children’s homework but go over it with the child and give feedback to the teachers on how well they perform.

Marble Hill School Creche and Nursery programme is a curriculum guided learning and assessment organised into six main areas of learning:
⦁ Personal, social and emotional development
⦁ Communication, language and literacy
⦁ Mathematical development
⦁ Knowledge and understanding of the world
⦁ Physical development
⦁ Creative development
⦁ It is a well planned and resourced curriculum that provides opportunities for all children to succeed in an atmosphere of care and high self-esteem.

At Marble Hill School Creche and Nursery particular attention is paid to the monitoring of each child’s progress through Teachers observation and regular consultation with parents. Parents are encouraged to share their knowledge and views of their child’s development and raise any concerns to ensure that the children are making progress. This is to ensure that difficulties in any area of their development are quickly identified and addressed. It also helps to celebrate achievements.
